Join the New Jersey State Youth Orchestra's flagship ensemble, the Symphonic Youth Orchestra, as they present a free afternoon program of orchestral favorites from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras. Experience the classical grace, elegance, and humor of Haydn's Symphony No. 1 in D major and Mozart's Overture to The Magic Flute; the stormy passion and romantic yearning of Schubert's "Unfinished" Symphony in B minor and Dvorak's Symphony No. 8 in G major; and the intricate Baroque counterpoint and cerebral power of Bach's "Little Fugue" in G minor in a new orchestral arrangement by NJSYO Music Director Ben Ringer. The Symphonic Youth Orchestra's talented 9th-12th grade students will tickle your ears, quicken your pulse, and bring a smile to your Saturday. Don't miss this once-a-year-only event!
